Five apps that recreate the pay-TV scrambling of the 1980s and 1990s. Scramble your own photos, videos or camera, watch as a subscriber with the right card, or crack the picture as a pirate. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded. Every app has an NL/EN switch at the top.

Test card with its own ident tune, photo or video, live camera with microphone. Where the technique is documented, the apps follow it as closely as possible, often after the hacktv source code. Where it is not, the gaps are filled in and listed at the bottom of each app as assumptions. No real card keys are included. This is meant as technical history and a toy, not for decoding real broadcasts; those are long gone anyway.
